General booking conditions

These Terms establish the rights and obligations of all users of ENGLISH TAXI MADRID, in relation to the services we offer through our website www.englishtaximadrid.com.

1.- Obligations of the User.
The User undertakes, in general, to use the Web and to reserve the Services diligently, in accordance with the law, morality, public order and the provisions of these General Conditions, and shall likewise refrain from using them in any way that may prevent, Damage or impair the normal operation and enjoyment of the Web by users or that could injure or cause damage to the property and rights of ENGLISH TAXI MADRID, its service providers, users or in general any third party.

2.- Services.
ENGLISH TAXI MADRID reserves the right to decide, at each time, which Transportation Services are offered to users through the Web. In particular, ENGLISH TAXI MADRID may at any time add new Transport Services to those offered or included in the Store, it being understood that unless otherwise provided, such new Services will be governed by the provisions of these General Conditions. Likewise, ENGLISH TAXI MADRID reserves the right to stop lending or facilitate access and use at any time and without prior notice of any of the different kinds of Services offered in the Store.

ENGLISH TAXI MADRID undertakes not to allow any transaction that is illegal, or is considered by credit card brands or the acquiring bank, that may or has the potential to harm the goodwill of the same or to negatively influence them. ENGLISH TAXI MADRID reserves the right to cancel or refuse any reservation of a User-Customer with whom it maintains a dispute regarding the payment of a previous order.

Reservations made on the Internet through www.englishtaximadrid.com carry contractual data between the User-Client and the Web which will be confirmed and collected by both parties prior to shipment.

ENGLISH TAXI MADRID undertakes to accept booking orders in accordance with the terms of the general conditions of sale set forth herein. The User-Customer declares that he/she is aware of and accepts these general conditions of sale before confirming his/her reservations. Confirmation of a reservation therefore implies acceptance of these General Conditions of Sale. Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded by the store is proof of the set of transactions between ENGLISH TAXI MADRID and its customers.

3.- Procedure and form of payment for the Services
Within a maximum of twenty-four (24) hours, ENGLISH TAXI MADRID will send an e-mail to the User, confirming the purchase and booking of the service. This e-mail will assign a purchase reference code, and will detail the characteristics of the booking made by the User-Customer, its price and the driver details assigned for your booking.

The User who wishes to make a reservation through the Web must make the payment of the reservation through the payment systems specifically detailed on the Web.

The order confirmation sent by ENGLISH TAXI MADRID is not valid as an invoice, only as proof of purchase. The user can request the relevant invoice via e-mail: 
orders@englishtaximadrid.com, which will be sent to him by e-mail.

4.- Reservation policy

  • Transfer services from Madrid Barajas Airport – Adolfo Suarez
    By providing us with your flight information, the driver assigned to your service will be checking the status of your flight at all times (departure and arrival time). to perform the service in the best conditions and that only we have to wait for you. From your flight to the airport, you will have one hour waiting time included in the fare, at which your assigned driver will wait for you in the hall of the arrival terminal. A message will be sent to you via messaging to notify you of the start of the wait. If after 15 minutes of courtesy of the same, provided there has been communication via courier, with the driver, and you so wish, he will be able to continue waiting for you; the cost of waiting after 75 minutes will be 6 €/15 minutes, payable by cash or card to the driver after the transfer is made. If there is no response from you during those 75 minutes, the service will be considered as performed; that is why
  • Transfer services from another source to Madrid Barajas Airport – Adolfo Suarez or any other destination
    When you provide us with a pick up time, the assigned driver will be at the address indicated at the designated time. After that time, you will have 15 minutes of courtesy for your pick-up. In the event that there is no communication from you during those 15 minutes, the service will be considered as performed.
    For the particular case of pick-ups at Atocha or Chamartin Train Station, the waiting time will be 30 minutes from the arrival of the train at the station, so you will need to provide us with the necessary information to be able to check the arrival time of your train. If after that time, there has been no communication on your part, the service will be considered as performed. In the event that there has been communication and you wish the assigned driver to wait longer, the same conditions apply as for airport pickups.
  • Tours
    If after reading the relevant information, you are interested in any of them, you must make the payment of the reservation as indicated. The rest of the amount will be paid to the driver upon completion of the payment. The same booking conditions apply to these as for transfer services from other sources than the Airport.

5.- Return Policy

  • Transfer services from Madrid Barajas Airport – Adolfo Suarez Provided there is an email communication to the address orders@englishtaximadrid.com advising of a cancellation of the reservation before the departure of the flight to Madrid, the refund will be made. Otherwise, the User-Client will be considered to arrive on the communicated flight, and therefore the service will be considered as performed, always respecting our booking policy.
  • Transfer services from another origin, to Madrid Barajas Airport – Adolfo Suarez, or another, and tours Provided that there is an email communication to the address orders@englishtaximadrid.com advising of a cancellation of the reservation at least 2 hours before the reservation, the refund will be made. Otherwise it will be considered that there are no changes to it, and it will be considered as a service performed, always respecting our booking policy.

How is the money returned?
The refund will be made on the same card on which the order was paid.

6.- Cancellation policy.
Upon the submission of the required data, and payment of the reservation, confirmation will be sent with your assigned driver within 24 hours to the same. If, for any circumstances up to the time of the service, the driver who was to pick you up changes, we will immediately inform you via courier and email, in any case ensuring that your reservation will be made. If, for any circumstances outside the will of ENGLISH TAXI MADRID, we are obliged to cancel the final delivery of the service, we will inform you via courier and e-mail, and we will refund the amount of the reservation in the manner described above.

7.- Customer Service.
For any incident, claim or exercise of your rights, the User may send an e-mail to orders@englishtaximadrid.com
